You just can't go wrong with They're Real Mascara, it lengthens and volumized. The only thing though is if you have more watery eyes/oily skin, make sure you set your undereye concealer with powder to avoid smudging. Also, the eyeshadows they included are pretty versatile for day and night neutral looks. They're soft to touch and easy to blend. They are not super pigmented but you can build it up to the intensity you prefer.

Hoola is said to be "the perfect color for contouring" by so many of my friends, and they're not wrong. It's such a nice shade that is not too orange or brown for contouring. But make sure to use a light hand and build it up as you go. As for It's Potent Eye Cream, it is a potent eye cream (haha). It is quite thick and moisturizing so a little goes a long way. I like to use it in the morning because it helps to hydrate your undereye and prep it for makeup.

If you (or your loved one) are just starting with Benefit, I recommend any of the mini kits including the Let's Make Lovely for them to try. And if your girl is always on the go and love a good sets for everyday makeup, definitely go for Groovy Kind-A Love.
